Scott Garrity Show a Success!

The Scott Garrity art show was a huge success.  Our Pawling office was abuzz with activity as friends, supporters and art lovers came out to see Scott and his work.  The pieces that were not sold still adorn the Pawling office walls for a limited time.  One lovely oil painting of flowers (photographed below) now has a permanent place in the Ferris Pawling office.

Attention Arlington Tax Payers…Vote on Tuesday May 19th!

On Tuesday May 19th 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM  there are three important things to vote for.

1. The Budget.

Proposed for $172,266,975 with a tax levy increase of 5.21% 

If the budget is not approved by the voters the School Board can either present a revised budget OR adopt a contingency budget.

The contingency budget is $171,331,381 with a tax levy increase of 4.33%

Town of Beekman Residents it is time for Spring Clean-Up!

Did you just move to the Town of Beekman?  Maybe you have some stuff you need to get rid of, but it’s just too much for the garbage man.  You replaced that water softener and still have the old one?  Or just moved in and the previous owner left some stuff behind?  Well on Saturday, April 25th you can load it up and drive it on over to the Town Hall in the Village of Poughquag and just dump it. 

Town of Beekman Fishing Derby 4/25 Saturday

Calling all fisherman!  This Saturday, April 25th is the Poughquag Sportman’s annual Fishing Derby held at the Beekman Recreation Park.  Come on over and fish from 8:00 am until 12:15 pm.
